Agricultural extension officers noted that while sporadic showers will provide beneficial soil moisture for maturing Kharif crops like bajra and pulses, intense sustained spells could pose localized challenges for open standing crops in fields with inadequate natural drainage.
Emergency response cells have been placed on standby across civic subdivisions to monitor roadway culverts along the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway corridor, ensuring rapid response in case of heavy showers.
