The Fair of Karis Baba: The famous fair of Karis Baba, the folk deity and worshiper of cattle herders, is going on with reverence and enthusiasm in Jahaz village of Vair tehsil of Bharatpur district. Apart from various districts of Rajasthan, thousands of devotees from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh are also reaching here. Wishing for the happiness, prosperity and safety of the animals, devotees are offering ghee, grains, sweets and other items to Baba. Folk songs, bhajans, dances and rural markets are adding to the charm of the fair.
